The kitchen’s confidence is evident in the way each plate arrives — steaming hot, freshly made, and hummed with subtle spice and familiar comfort. Whether you’re dining in or choosing a takeaway, there’s a comforting consistency that speaks to a kitchen that takes pride in each gesture, from the doughy softness of peshwari naan to the rich, nuanced layers of a balti or dansak.
What makes Rajah truly special is how it weaves warmth into every interaction. The owners and team cultivate a space where smiles aren’t just part of the service—they’re a reflection of genuine hospitality. This care extends to the atmosphere, which feels just right for gathering with family or friends, whether on a quiet weekday evening or when the restaurant picks up a gentle buzz of regulars reconnecting. The experience here is grounded and approachable, the kind of place where you feel welcomed back before you’ve even left the table.

We had a lovely meal, my wife, son and I. The food was fantastic and really delicious. In particular, the peshwari naan breads are superb and my balti dansak was excellent. The staff were lovely: super friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We have takeaways from here too, the quality is always great but there’s something extra nice about eating in and having Cobra fresh from the tap.

Everyone's food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was a quiet midweek evening so not a buzzing atmosphere but this was very good for chatting and not being rushed. Highly recommend.
